Rates and Details

A usual stay at Snowbird lasts one week, from Saturday to Saturday. It is, however, possible to stay for a shorter or longer period. Just send Ingrid an email.

Snowbird is a membership-based lodge. Being a member entitles you to priority bookings and lower weekly rates. If you’re not a member, you should check out the Guests rates. If you’d like to become a member, you can learn more about the process and contact us here.

Rates below are for the 2024 winter season.

Important Notes

Children 4 and under

Children aged 2-4 years, of both members and guests, pay $300 per week.

For safety reasons, children aged 4 years and younger will be booked in a room with their parent/s.

Requesting your own room

It is possible to request a room to yourself. We do our best to meet our member’s needs. However, if demand for rooms is high we may not be able to provide you with your own room. If you do request your own room, we’ll request an additional fee of $400.

Booking Deposits

All bookings require payment of a 10% non-refundable deposit to receive booking confirmation.

We reserve the right to re-let space if the full balance of your accommodation is not paid at least 30 days prior to your check in date.

Weekend and partial bookings

A usual stay at Snowbird lasts one week from Saturday to Saturday. We always prioritise bookings for full weeks.

It is possible to request a weekend booking or partial-week booking. However, we can not confirm these bookings until 3-4 weeks before the start of the ski season. It may not be possible to accept weekend or partial bookings. We’ll do our best and will keep in touch with you to let you know.

Travel Insurance

Snowbird Lodge will not be responsible for any circumstances which prevent a guest taking up their accommodation at Snowbird (including climatic conditions). Snowbird Lodge recommends travel and medical insurance. Snowbird’s Committee asks that members/guests insure themselves against any loss of monies due to cancellation of their accommodation attributed to illness or injury. Refunds will not be issued outside the cancellation policy. Please plan accordingly and purchase travel and medical insurance.

If you need to cancel

If you need to cancel your booking, please contact Ingrid on bookings@snowbird.com.au. We do need to receive your cancellation in writing.

Depending how early you cancel your booking we will be able to refund you the following amounts:

90% refund if you let us know 13 weeks or more before your booking. Snowbird will keep your 10% non-refundable deposit.

50% refund if you let us know 8-12 weeks before your booking

Due to planning and ordering processes, if you give us less than 8 weeks notice we won’t be able to refund your booking.

Refunds will not be issued to anyone who, once in residence, decides to shorten their stay.

If extenuating circumstances do occur, refunds will be at the discretion of the Snowbird committee. An administration fee of $50 will apply to all cancellations.
